Institute for the Study of Contemporary Spirituality

Welcome to the Institute for the Study of Contemporary Spirituality! As you will see from the links on this page, we now have three distinctive graduate programs in the field of Christian spirituality with a respected international faculty – an MA (available both on campus and on-line), a concentration within the DMin program and a specialist PhD program. Together these graduate programs make Oblate School of Theology a unique and significant place for the study of Christian spirituality. In addition we are in process of creating enhanced research facilities at OST for spirituality scholars. We are also developing a Continuing Education program. This will focus on links between spirituality and various professional fields, between spirituality and pastoral ministry and between spirituality and contemporary culture and society. A major international spirituality conference in 2016 is currently under discussion. This will be organised in collaboration with other academic institutions in the United States and overseas.

Again, welcome to our Institute and I hope that you will find the details both helpful and attractive.
