About:

A Missionary Oblate of Mary Immaculate Rev. Ken Hannon has taught at Oblate for more than thirty years in systematic theology. His specialization has been in the areas of sacramental theology and Liturgy. His work has included Parish ministry, Liturgical education at professional and popular levels as well as Liturgical Administration (Chair San Antonio Archdiocesan Liturgical Commission; Southwest Liturgical Conference Board, president, one term; Federation of Diocesan Liturgical Commissions, Board, one term. He is a member of the North American Academy of Liturgy and of the Catholic Academy of Liturgy. He has been visiting Professor at St. Joseph’s Theological Institute, Cedara, S. Africa, Good Shepherd Theological College, Auckland, NZ. He has regularly presented workshops in liturgical practice and theology throughout the region. He regularly spends his summer in parish ministry, usually in Alaska.
