About:

Antonio is a San Antonio local bringing a lifelong passion for learning and creativity to his service as Director of Continuing Education. He has previously taught at the high school level (2020-2023) and in an adult educational setting as an instructor for OST’s Instituto de Formación Pastoral / Pastoral Formation Institute (2021-Present). He has also served as a North American Language and Cultural Assistant in Spain (2017-2018).

A graduate of Oblate School Theology, his thesis focused on Catholic theology’s treatment of creation in dialogue with indigenous wisdom traditions of the Americas.

Publications:

2022 – “Grave Importance: Religio-Political Architecture and the Tāp PīlamCoahuiltecan” in Perspectivas, the online peer-reviewed journal of the Hispanic Theological Initiative.

Presentations:

2021 – “Groundwork for Interpreting Scripture in the Catholic Tradition” for a project from St. Mary’s University project promoting biblical literacy, La Biblia y su Tradición – The Bible and itsTradition. Delivered in English and Spanish.
