"This event unifies congregations, churches, and parishes in ecumenical prayer especially at a time when our world is crying out for its people to come together to worship in spirit and truth,” said Sr. Addie Lorraine Walker, S.S.N.D., director of the Sankofa Institute for African American Pastoral Leadership at OST. “At the intersection of DreamWeek and Christian Unity week, we offer this special opportunity for people to respond to Jesus’ prayer for unity (John 17:21).”
SAN ANTONIO, TX, Jan. 21, 2024 – The Oblate School of Theology (OST) hosts their annual Christian Unity Service, an official DreamWeek San Antonio 2025 event, on Friday, January 24 at the Immaculate Conception Chapel located on the OST campus.
For over 20 years, OST has welcomed Christian denominations to come together in a special celebration of unity and worship that allows men and women to walk together in faith as one. This call to unity emphasizes the importance of affirming the Christian faith and breaking down barriers between denominations in an effort to foster a more ecumenical community.
